My exams are officially over on the 2nd Dec 2009 and the feeling of having holidays is just damm good. =)
I'm at the museum working right now btw. =) And I'm working on 7 of the 8 weekends in December. hee hee. Slacking dere. =X It's really a superb job. I went to the National Library to help out with an event yest and my legs are really painful after that. And Yiting was the MC this time! She did well.
Yest was Yeelu's birthday! Happy birthday! (although I wasn't in person to celebrate with you)

Serene and I are ponning translation tutorial and tcm lecture together!!! wahaha. It simply means I'm not going to school today. I declare today's a holiday for me. And I'm not going to school tmr either since I'm having a four day week. As a matter of fact, we did ask the teacher nicely if we could not go for the tutorial (as we had presented and I had completed my 4000 (!!!) word essay) and the teacher replied we could (with a tint of reluctance). I bet she's a bit shocked we asked her. *Note that attendance is included in class participation marks*

Oh and I cut my hair recently. It's A LOT thinner ( I reckon the hairdresser cut away at least half of the volume), shorter but it's rather nice. hahaha.

These few days have been pretty fun going out. Sunday shopping with Osborne was really fun! Hahaha, he bought nothing while I bought some stuff. hahaha. I even bought 'Harry Potter and the deathy hallows' at Bishan's Popular as it's selling only at ten dollars nett! LOL. I mean I didn't just buy it because it's cheap (although it is certainly the most contributing factor), I did consider that I'd read the book too. =D
Oh, for the 5th mth, Osborne made me this! =) He spent like ten hours doing it!!! Effort is highly commendable. I could never sit still to do an origami for long hours? hahaha. Thank you!~~

After that, we headed to Shaw House to catch Harry Potter! It's my first time watching a movie with Ziting and Junhan (Jiamin left early)! However, Junhan fell aslp at the 3rd quarter of the show I think! hahaha. For those who never read the book, the movie's a bit hard to understand as it's made up of many snippets and every fragment just shows a little of the important scenes in the book. Guess it can't be helped too. And Professor Slughorn and Lavender Brown look nothing like I've imagined. And is the dining hall at Hogwarts smaller this time (Is it that many students have withdrawed from the school)??

Seniors' orientation is fun!!! Tried the 8 games and learnt the mass dance. This year's orientation also included a crime solving segment. And I've stepped into the new HSS building today. Woohoo~~ =) And it's nice to see many familiar faces!

Today I went shopping with Kah Ying at Tampines!!! So happy! hahaha. It was a fruitful trip for both of us!!! Money can buy some happiness yeah? =)) Both of us bought the SAME GREEN tee with a big 'Wednesday' imprinted on it. We shall wear the same tee to school on Wednesday. =p HAHA. And this makes me to be 'Miss Wednesday'. LOL. 'Miss Wednesday' is a character in One Piece for those who nvr watch. Eh but she's pretty weak so I couldn't want to be her either. Picked up some other great bargains too!!!

It was really fun playing the games there!!! We played a game which was similar to Heart Attack. Tthe first one to get a whole set of the same colour will steathily (usually) take one of the bones and the last one will be left without a bone and have to to do a forfeit! We also played 'Ugly' (Similar to SNAP but you must shout 'UGLY!' when you do grab the card), Uno Stacko and another game which involves guessing/ acting out the words (which were under a certain theme). Renkai and Jiajie left early and Yuan Wen, Kenneth and Mei Ping joined the rest of the crew. (Rudi, borne, melody, anna and me!) And many thanks to Lester for organising! =D

I finally got a new phone, sony errik C902 today. I wld have much preferred sony errik T707 or Samsung Jet if I'm willing to spend more. I signed up for a student plan at the Starhub roadshow at Civics today and the privileges are really good! It costs 198 dollars, and I had the registration and sim card fee waived as my sis is also a Starhub mobile plan subscriber, and I had 50 dollars Robinson shopping voucher too! hahaha! And Starhub mobile plans come with additional 100 mins free outing calls, which makes it to be 200 mins free!! Woohoo! And unlimited smses!!!
And guessed what, I ran today! I haven run for ages. Met act for a run early at 7 plus lah!!! Loyi rarely wakes up so early if she can, except for bball for most of the time. hahaha.We ran from my house to Innova JC there, to the Sports school etc and we reached a place where there are large patches of greenery and we went up the slopes of green patches and the scenery is REALLY breathtaking. Around us are just greenery and more greenery and we can see the expressways and buildings below us. And the morning air was really refreshing!!! Ran back to Vista Pt and had breakfast!! :) Feeling breathless while running, which means I'm really unfit. hahaha. And thanks loads to act for pushing me run! Good workout today!
AND one happy thing is I got a velvet Chopper figurine from Osborne!!! It's just super damm adorable! It came from those slot machines where a surprise will await for u if u put in 3 one dollar coins. lol. I saw it at cwp but I was reluctant to part with my 3 dollars, And on that same day, he got it at the slot machine at Vivo Toy R Us. =DD Now I felt like collecting all of them already, =X

But still the timetable thing is really irritating. I think I would just take HC 211 although I wana take HC 241 ore. =( Hopefully I can get my 3 day week. If not my exam timetable would be really packed.

Today I watched Ghosts of girlfriends past with Osborne at cwp. The movie was pretty good. We caught the 3.10pm show and surprisingly, Ziting was at the same place watching Terminator too!! (3.05pm show) ( Ziting and I were gona meet later.) Guessed Osborne and I were running late so we reached the cinema slightly later.. After the show, I went to Wisma tand sent my Osborne's hp my hp for repair. Hope I'd get a working phone again.
Anyway the HIGHLIGHT of the day was JIAMIN"S BIRTHDAY!!! Her birthday was 21st June to be exacto! (Spanish for exactly, influenced by Bleach). We dined at the newly opened Sushi Tei outlet at Paragon!!! The food was worth the wait and we enjoyed our meals to our hearts content!! I still ordered a bento set as usual becos I like the feeling of eating main courses. hahaha. The rest ordered a wide variety of sushi a la carte! I kopped some from them too and it's nice to try out different dishes. We each ordered a chawanmushi and it also has a ginko nut at the bottom too! It's just like the one at Ichiban Sushi, although I still think the one at the latter is bigger and slightly nicer? We ended off with an ice-cream wafer which was heavenly! After that, we gave her the present which was a pretty top which Junhan and Ziting shopped for! Had loads of conversations, fun and laughter today! :))

Seems like time is slipping away very fast. Hmm this year I'm 20 yrs old. Probably before I know it, I'm gona be 21 soon. Sighs.

And I just walked all the way from my house to the stadium to meet zacao to get sth from her and we planned to 'walk around the tracks' on Sun :D. SHE WATCHES ONE PIECE TOO!!! And on my way back, I went to find Alyssa to wish her Happy birthday, though empty-handed. hahaha! Although it's just a short while, it's still nice to meet up with frens! =D
Met up for dinner at cwp yest with the working gang which is youhui, stella and libing, and liyhee! Enjoyed their company. hahaha. And I gained some insights too,
Jiayou liyhee! There's still a long way to go in life. Smile smile! =)) Jio us out often ok? We (except bing) will not have to go to work anymore after next Friday!!!
Last Sat, Osborne treated me to Night Safari. It was really fun! Hahaha. Able to look at all the beautiful/ cute animals in close proximity. =D The tram ride is pretty nice. And I bought a baby lepard toy for him. HAHA. I like toys. =p And the following night, we caught the beautiful and dazzling fireworks at Yishun (Arts Fest closing) open field. The whole sky was lit up instantly by those colourful bursts at moments!!! I was crazily excited by the fireworks that never seemed to be ending! But all good things have to come to an end =( Oh and he came and find me for lunch today. hahaha. :)

On the actual day, I had work as usual. Work= Sian. But at least, I have my frens with me! After work, Osborne rushed down to meet me. He treated me to crêpes at Out of the Pan after walking around Raffles City Shopping Centre for rather long and I became rather sian after finding out that there was a long waitlist at Sushi Tei. =X *So sorry abt it.* Still, it was a new experience eating at Out of the Pan. :)
6th June 2009- CELEBRATION AT DIAN XIAO ER
After a superb, intense, exciting mahjong game at Yu Xuan's home with Osborne, Kenneth, Yuan Wen, I went home, bathed and met up with my fantastic secondary frens!!! I'm sorry for being a bit late. They treated me to Dian Xiao Er and they ordered the dinner package for 8 ppl I think and I had an extremely fulfilling meal!!! They ordered the 家常套餐 which consists of 8 main courses: 1 丝苗白饭 Superior Steamed Rice, 2 当归烤鸭 Duck Roasted w/ Angelica Herb, 3 青柠咸鱼小芥兰, Baby Kai-Lan w/Salted Fish & Lime, 4 蒙古排骨/东坡肉 Mongolian Spare Ribs / "Dong Po" Pork, 5 每日老火例汤 Soup of The Day, 6 港蒸生鱼片 HongKong Style Steamed Fish Slices, 7 三菇时蔬 Braised Assorted Mushroom w/ Broccoli, 8 黑椒牛油焗鲜虾 (微辣) Prawn Baked w/ Butter n Black Pepper Sauce!!! The food was really fabulous!!! And of cos, the table was filled with loads of laughter as usual!!! :))
After the dinner, the rest except Jiayi went to my house and I cut them my chocolate ice-cream cake which my dad bought. Not sure if they enjoyed it cos I guessed all of us were really full. I had fun chatting with the rest and we ended up watching funny video clips on Youtube. It was really bad of us to laugh at some of the video clips we watched but we couldn't help it!!! Yee lu and Bing gave all the suggestions lah which too revealed what they had been entertaining themselves with. Hahaha!

I had a really happy birthday thanks to Osborne, family and all my dear frens!!! Without you all, I wouldn't have such a memorable birthday!
